Q: What is a Service Center?
A
credit union you can visit to transact on your Farmers
Insurance Group Federal Credit Union accounts! Although
it is not one of our branch offices, you can visit a teller
and get a receipt.
Q: How is this possible?
We
participate in an independent network called the Credit
Union Service Center network. Each location is another
credit union that has a special link to us so they can
assist you when you visit!
Q: What can I do at a Service Center?
We recommend you stick to deposits and withdrawals, but certain other transactions are available for an extra fee, such as money orders, cashiers checks, and transaction history.
Q: What do I need to transact at a Service Center?
You
must have a valid picture ID and your FIGFCU member
number. This is important since the Service Center teller
doesn't have the ability to find your account from your
name or Social Security Number.
Q: Do Service Centers have their own policies and procedures?
Yes - we do not make Service Center policies, so we cannot guarantee cash availability, the acceptance of a deposit, or what type of hold will be placed on deposited funds.
Q:
What if I have a problem?
Call
us right away! If
you are at the Service Center, ask the teller to call
us at 800-877-2345. Or, you can call us after your visit
for any questions or feedback about your experience
there.
