| E-Mail Fraud A recent email was sent to our members, claiming to be "Credit Union Security", etc... If you receive such emails IMMEDIATELY DELETE!!! Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union will NEVER ask you to verify anything via email or send you to a website that asks for you to verify passwords or other information. Another message was sent to some members that appeared to come from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) requesting information. The email encouraged recipients to click on a link to update account information. The link landed on a fraudulent web site that appeared to be the actual site. This type of email is called “phishing” and it enables criminals to capture personal information from a trusted source; namely you. Thankfully, your Credit Union was able to detect this activity and would like to share with you a few steps that you can take to further protect your information:
